Being a tester on a team that has transitioned to agile practices can be confusing. Test teams often struggle to understand what their role is and how they fit in. This talk will discuss the testing activities and strategies on an agile team and how to successfully navigate the transition from waterfall to agile.

Megan Sumrell, Senior Consultant, Compuware Corporation
Megan Sumrell is a Certified Scrum Practitioner with over 12 years of software testing experience. She has worked as a developer, quality engineer, Director of QA, QA Architect, Scrum Master and Agile Coach. She built QA organizations at several software companies including CommerceOne and ChannelAdvisor. Currently, she is a Senior Consultant at Compuware based in the Durham, NC office. She specializes in agile testing and has worked with several teams to help them transition from waterfall to agile practices.
